Whilst the possibility of a major emergency at the Barry Industrial Complex is very unlikely, we strongly encourage you to register for this free warn and inform service. We can then telephone you with special safety information in the event of a major chemical emergency affecting the community.
Your details will not be held by the industrial companies directly but will be securely held by our service provider, Safeguard Communications (UK) Ltd, which is Data Protection registered and is the Data Controller. If any of the Barry industrial companies need to access the Data it will be used solely for the emergency warn and inform system and will not be passed to any third parties for marketing purposes.
The warn and inform system is available to all residents, businesses, shops, schools, and community organisations in the Barry and Sully (Vale of Glamorgan) areas. Please register as a new user even if you know you were registered for our pre-2010 system because we have not been able to transfer your details to this new system.
